Our raw fleeces have won numerous awards, including:

As handspinners and dyers ourselves, we know what crafters want in a quality raw fleece, and we do everything in our power to make sure ours fit the bill.

 

We believe the following steps are critical to producing an excellent raw fleece:

· coating our sheep to keep hay and other dirt out;

· providing good consistent nutrition for our animals;

· using an experienced shearer who minimizes second cuts; and

· meticulously hand-skirting every fleece twice.

 

Our customers agree! Our fleeces are usually reserved in advance. Contact us to inquire about availability.

Cost per pound is $12, and does not include shipping.

 

We only charge the actual cost of postage, to be paid prior to shipping. We use the United States Post Office. Customers have a choice of priority mail or parcel post. We will add insurance upon customer request.
